Children in the Valley

Rooted in Hope. Growing with Purpose.

Three programs.
One valley.

Foundations, Hearts and Hope. Choose one, give once or monthly — 100% goes into the Valley.

Choose your program

Three ways to take hands with us.

One promise to a child in the Valley, from the early years into adulthood. Every program has a live board of real needs, so you see exactly what your gift does.

Home rebuilding in Golden Valley
Program 01 Foundations

Homes rebuilt in the Valley, and the Renewal Hub set up to run. Our two biggest builds.

Children in the Valley
Program 02 Hearts

The daily work: meals, tutoring, counselling, mentoring — and being there again tomorrow.

The Elpida campus as designed
Program 03 Hope

Everything still to be built — the crèche, the Girls’ High School, and new hubs.

Current Projects

Foundations Program

Love has to look like something. Sponsor Foundations and you contribute to the equipment and infrastructure our Renewal Hub needs to run — and to the homes we are rebuilding in the Valley.

Children at the Renewal Hub
Project 01 Renewal Hub Equipment & Infrastructure

Making the AGS Elim premises work for children: a kitchen that can feed a hundred, desks and computers for afternoon lessons, counselling rooms, safety and security, water and power, the play park and grounds. Open since July 2026 on a twenty-year lease.

Home rebuilding in Golden Valley
Project 02 Homes in the Valley

No child should be loved well all afternoon and go home to a roof that leaks and a door that will not lock. We rebuild homes in Golden Valley after storms, after fire, after years of waiting — a project as big as the Hub itself.

Current Projects

Hearts Program

A building is not a childhood. Sponsor Hearts and you support the daily work — the Soup Kitchen in the Valley, and the tutoring, mentorship and feeding programs at the Renewal Hub.

The Soup Kitchen in Golden Valley
Project 01 The Soup Kitchen

In partnership with Love Looks Like Something, the faithful street-level presence in the Valley from which Elpida was born. The pots go on whether or not anyone is watching. It is where children are first met, first known by name, and first noticed when something is wrong at home.

Tutoring at the Renewal Hub
Project 02 Tutoring, Mentorship & Feeding

At the Renewal Hub, ages 6–14, every afternoon. A hot meal morning and afternoon, Reading Rocket literacy and the Maths programme, one-on-one tutoring, trauma-informed counselling, mentoring and sport — Monday to Friday.

Our Future Vision

Hope Program

Meet a child at two, walk with them into adulthood, and never hand them over to someone else halfway. Sponsor Hope and you build what does not exist yet.

The vision for the Elpida Crèche
Ages 2–6 Elpida Crèche

Where a child in the Valley will first be told, every day, that they are valued, loved and chosen.

Elpida Girls’ High School render
±150 learners Girls’ High School

CAPS academics and a trade, with counselling and a crèche for young mothers — so a baby does not end a girl’s education.

Blanco is the first, not the only. The Renewal Hub model is deliberately repeatable.

How giving works

Small and steady
changes everything.

A pledge of R100 a month tells us we can plan. Ten of them tell us we can promise.

100% of your donation directly funds the upliftment of the Valley. Registered NPO: 333-855-NPO.
One

Choose your program. Foundations, Hearts or Hope. Each board shows live goals and what has been given.

Two

Pay securely. Card or EFT via PayFast, encrypted end to end. We never see your card details.

Three

Once off, or monthly. Set up in under a minute. Change or stop it whenever you need.

Take Hands

Three programs. One generation.

Every brick, every meal, every pledge is part of a rebuild this community has waited generations for.
